The Night The Madrid Symphony Played Beethoven's 9th

When you can't get tickets...

Cue up the conductor...

And request...

A house call.

Backstory: Beethoven's 9th, besides being a magnificent piece of music by itself, holds a special place in our hearts. Matthew introduced me to the piece about 2.5 years ago in St. Louis. When the fourth movement was over we stood up, holding hands for the applause, and turned to each other for our first kiss!

When we found out the Madrid Symphony was playing the 9th, we of course tried to get tickets, but alas, we were too late, and they were sold out...wah wah. Then it occurred to me, we could bring it to us (with an intermission break for wine and cookies, of course)!
